Chip-Update

Chip is loving his new family and seems to have adjusted really well.  We miss this cute little guy but are lucky we can keep in touch with his new family and watch him grow. Thanks Jeff & Lynda!

Little Orphan Annie!

All the puppies are gone except for Annie, formerly known as Sparkle.  She will be flying to Alabama this weekend to meet her new family. She has been getting lots of attention from my 3 little kids and hasnt even missed the other puppies at all. It will be sad to see her go but we know she is getting a great new home and a bulldog sister named Maggie who is close to her same age. How fun!! Here are a few pictures of her this past week.

She definatley will love Alabama because she is not a fan of the snow at all.

5 Weeks Old and a Haircut

After getting their first baths it was off to the groomers.  My groomer does an excellent job and she was amazed at how calm they all were. Of all the puppies she said Jasmine was the hardest to groom and that wasn't because she was being bad it was because she is so much smaller than the others! I love how they turned out. You can really see how thick their coats are now.

SPARKLE
Sparkle is SOLD and will be flying to Alabama!
Thanks George & Kelly

PRINCE
Prince is SOLD and will be staying here in Utah!
Thanks Bill, Julie and girls

JASMINE
Jasmine is SOLD and will be flying to Michigan!
Thanks Nellie!

CHIP
Chip is SOLD and will be staying here in Utah
Thanks Jeff!

And what a better way to end a busy afternoon than curled up together for a nap?

Splish, Splash!

The puppies had the busiest day so far of their little lives.  They started out bright and early this morning with their fist baths.  They all did really well...
Jasmine was first and she did great! She is so tiny especially when all of her hair is wetted down. The first picture is of her wet, the second is after she'd been towel dried and the third is after being blow dried.  She didn't mind the blow dryer at all, in fact I think she kind of liked it. The third picture isn't very good but it does show how much hair she really has.  I definitely think she got her daddies coat. Lucky girl.

Chip was the next one up and he also did great.  Out of all the puppies I think he disliked the water the most but liked being blow dried the best.  He just laid there while I dried him and near the end he was almost asleep.  I love the cuddly towel pictures. Chip has a very nice thick coat.

Prince was next and he did fine with both the bath and being blow dried.  He probably took the longest to dry out of all of the puppies though.  He definitely has his daddies super mega coat. I love the color variations in both the Salt and Pepper and the Liver/Peppers.

Sparkle was last and was the least excited of the 4 about the blow dryer but she still did great. Near the end she started to realize it wasn't so bad. She has a wonderful thick and soft coat as well.

It's a Big Big World...

The puppies had their first adventure outside this week.  At first they weren't too sure what to think and huddled all together.

and then Chip decided it was okay and started exploring

and then it didn't take long for Jasmine

Prince and

Sparkle to follow!

They were even successful in doing their "business" outside.  Way to go puppies!! By the time they leave here they will have a good start on their potty training.

Chow Time

The puppies had their first taste of food this week.  They weren't too sure if they liked it or not, except for Jasmine, she jumped right in.  With each feeding they are liking it more and more.
Wait, that's not a puppy! Just a "helpful" 16 month old.

They also had their fist adventure outside to go potty, which I will post later.  They have a busy week coming up they are going to be having their first baths and their first haircuts. So be sure to check back this week for lots of pictures of these exciting events.

4 Weeks Old!

The puppies are 4 weeks old!! They are starting to really look like schnauzers with their scruffy little muzzles.

-CHIP-
Chip is an absolute sweetheart.  I love his little face with his cute brown nose.  Chip is a Liver/Pepper male with white markings on his chest and the tips of all 4 feet.

-Prince-

Prince is also a Liver/Pepper male with very striking phantom markings. Prince is much lighter in color than his brother and will mature to be the equivalent of a Platinum Salt & Pepper.
PRINCE IS SOLD

-SPARKLE-

Sparkle is a little princess.  She has the cutest little face.  Sparkle is a Salt & Pepper with phantom markings and a tiny bit of white on the tips of the toes on one of her back feet.

-JASMINE-

Jasmine is our tiny little Princess.  She is a Black and Silver with very striking phantom markings and white on the tips of her toes.  Jasmine is by far the smallest of the bunch and weighs in at half the size of her siblings.  She also has by far the thickest coat and should have a beautiful coat like her daddy when she matures.
